Crystals & Acid Rain

How did them make our crystals

1. We heated sulphuric acid and dissolved the copper
2. We put it through filter paper
3. We put it in a evaporating basin
4. Put water in the beaker and put it under the evaporating basin and heat it

Acid Rain

How is acid rain formed?
When fossil fuels such as coal. oils and natural gas are burned, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and sulfa dioxide escape into the air. These molecules dissolve in the water in the clouds and make the rainwater more acidic than normal. When this,it is called acid rain

How is it affecting coral reefs
The rising acidity of the oceans threatens coral reefs by making it harder for corals to build their skeletons. ... Corals grow their skeletons upward toward sunlight and also thicken them to reinforce them.

How can we prevent it
Stop burning fossil fuels
